Representatives from Magic Carpet alumnae groups in Alaska and Hawaii (not yet U.S. States at this time) pose with International Alumnae Director Leona Hughes during the 1958 Convention in Lake Placid, New York. Jean Thomas Grippin, Delta Iota, and Pearl Marie Paris, Delta Alpha, represented the Honolulu Alumnae Club; and Luverne Hinson, Alpha Omega, represented the Anchorage Club. This photograph was featured in The Aglaia.
