Title

The Right to Choose

Description

Nordwall, retiring chairman of the National Panhellenic Council, addresses criticisms regarding membership selection process of Greek-letter organizations. She believes sororities were not designed to solve the problems of mixed society and must be allowed to select members according to their own procedures. Although this may result in conformity, Nordwall argues that sorority membership does not deny an individual the right to make friends regardless of race or religion.
