1927 National Convention

With more than 300 in attendance, the 75th anniversary convention in 1927 was the largest National Convention yet. A monument in the outline of the Phi Mu badge was unveiled at the gravesite of Founder Martha Hardaway Redding and the first comprehensive history of Phi Mu was introduced. Other major decisions included adopting a 10-year, $50,000 insurance plan to assure completion of the Endowment Fund and establishing a $225 annual scholarship at Wesleyan "as a token of our love and appreciation for the birthplace of the Fraternity."
