1976 National Convention

The 1976 National Convention saw celebrations for both the United State Bicentennial and the the Phi Mu Quasquicentennial, as the Fraternity entered its 125th year. At the Patriotic Dinner, officers appeared in special Phi Mu clothing and commemorative bronze medallions were given to all in attendance. Major decisions included the first increase in fees in a decade. Pledge fees rose from $11 to $15, Initiation fees from $40 to $50, national collegiate dues $15 to $20 and leadership conference transportation fees from 50 cents to $1.
