1980 National Convention

1980 National Convention

Finances were at the forefront of the 36th National Convention as the Fraternity was suffering with the rest of the country from increased costs and inflation. The delegates approved additional fee increases, including Life Membership Endowment fees ($25 to $30), alumnae dues ($5 to $10), and annual The Aglaia subscription fees ($2 to $5). The National Council study committee, which had been formed at the 1978 Convention, recommended eliminating the Member-at-Large positions by 1982.
