1982 National Convention

1982 National Convention

The Phi Mu Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary at the 37th National Convention and a new history of the Fraternity was introduced. The proposal set forth in 1980 to remove the Member-at-Large positions from the National Council was rejected, but the delegates did approve a new Area plan. The revised Area plan eliminated Districts and their officers and instead authorized the National Council to divide the country into areas, headed by Area Coordinators.
