Delegates at the 39th National Convention passed several pieces of milestone legislation, but most significant was the adoption of the Children's Miracle Network as an additional national philanthropy. The National Housing/Decorating Fund presented at the 1984 convention was approved to manage the funds of chapters without housing corporations. Additionally, the time-honored life subscription to The Aglaia was eliminated, although an amendment to this legislation assured that ever alumna would receive at least one issue of the publication every year.
