1994 National Convention

1994 National Convention

Several key elections decisions were made at the 43rd National Convention. The first, a proposal from an Election Study Committee, to eliminate nominations from the convention floor during National Council elections was defeated, and delegates retained the right to nominate from the floor. The committee also recommended a candidates' forum so that candidates could address the convention body. This proposal was approved, and the first such forum took place at the convention.
