1911 National Convention

1911 National Convention

Held in Georgia, where over 1,000 alumnae lived, the 1911 National Convention was called an "Alumnae Convention." Alumnae, many of whom were older Philomatheans, were encouraged to attend and this was also the first convention where alumnae associations were represented. This was also the first time a model initiation was held at convention, a practice that continues today.
