1938 National Convention

The 16th Convention marked the first time that General Council officers' reports were not read aloud to the convention body, although they were printed in The Philomathean later. A highlight of the convention was the attendance of Sarah Elizabeth Lines (Munroe), granddaughter of Founder Mary DuPont Lines, who had been initiated at Alpha Epsilon chapter earlier in the year.
